SUSI2

Superb Seeing Imager -2

General
The SUperb-Seeing Imager (SuSI2) is a direct imaging camera optimised for periods of good seeing. Former SuSI was replaced with an upgraded system identical in concept but with a larger field (5.5 x 5.5 arcmin). This upgraded system has been called SuSI2.

SuSI2 was intalled on the Nasmyth focus A on last December 1997 and the commissioning on February 1998; it complements the imaging modes of the EMMI instrument which is permanently mounted on the NTT Nasmyth focus B
